The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dantes tries to avoid it but Jacobs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dantes to the ground. Dantes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jacobs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dantes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jacobs works to advance to full mount. Dantes defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Jacobs has control of Dantes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dantes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jacobs has hold of Dantes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dantes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
