Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eli Peterson (ranked 24205 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suphachai Banchamek (ranked 5114 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suphachai Banchamek! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson misses with a leg kick letting Banchamek counter with a right hand. Peterson throws a combination that misses and Banchamek counters with a lovely straight right hand! Banchamek slips a jab and a cross from Peterson.

Peterson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Banchamek. Banchamek thuds a left hand into Peterson's body. Peterson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Banchamek lands a jab to Peterson's midsection. A big right from Peterson misses. Peterson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peterson throws a jab when Banchamek was well out of range. Banchamek let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Banchamek lands with a straight right. Peterson didn't see that one coming. Peterson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Banchamek throws out a counter right but Peterson avoids it with no problem. Peterson cracks Banchamek with a good jab. Peterson misses with a lunging right hand
and Banchamek counters with a nice body shot. Banchamek darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Banchamek lands a two punch combo.

That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson misses with a hook. Banchamek ducked under it nicely. Banchamek throws out a counter right but Peterson avoids it with no problem. Nice body punch from Banchamek. Banchamek takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Suphachai Banchamek has been cut. A punch combination from Peterson misses. Nice defenses there by Banchamek. Peterson jabs Banchamek to the body, keeping him at a distance. Peterson throws a big shot that misses. Peterson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Banchamek counters with a nice uppercut. Peterson thuds his right hand into Banchamek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Banchamek fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peterson on the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Banchamek punishes Peterson's body with a nice straight punch. Peterson swings widly with a right hand

and Banchamek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Banchamek lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Peterson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Peterson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Banchamek connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

enabling Banchamek to counter with a crisp jab. Peterson moves forwards but Banchamek connects with a nice, crisp jab.
