Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Page (ranked 4034 p4p, 468 weight class) and Dex Arial (ranked 3033 p4p, 390 weight class). Arial is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunder. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Page!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dex Arial!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page doesn't manage to clinch there - Arial circles away.
As Page backs off Arial throws a huge counter combo but Page manages to avoid it all.
Arial walks into a jab.
Page displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Page scores with a nice right hand.
Page misses with a combination
and Arial decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Page's guard.
Arial throws a strike but Page rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Page with a flurry of punches that miss.
Page trying to control the position from guard on top but Arial is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Page is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Arial is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Arial looking for a sweep. Not yet Arial, not yet.
We've been hearing good reports from Page's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arial lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Arial must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Page wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arial not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Page avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Page is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Page pushes Arial off and scrambles back to his feet.
Danny Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Page connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Page throws a right and a left that Arial avoids nicely.
Page lands a hook that stumbles Arial back into the cage. Page follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Arial to the canvas! Page pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Arial has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
