Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Efren Gray (ranked 24197 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santos Bells (ranked 6240 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos Bells will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Efren Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santos Bells! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bells rushes Gray and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gray gets control of Bells's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gray will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Gray has Bells pulled in close to control his posture. Bells must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bells throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gray works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gray manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bells manages to get himself to full guard.
Gray stands up over Bells, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gray drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gray jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gray working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray landing some decent shots from guard. Bells wants to sweep here but Gray controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bells wants to control the position but Gray says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Gray is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gray is working for a submission of some sort.
Bells is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Gray has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Bells is tapping! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Efren Gray! In defeat, Santos Bells stepped up to the mic, saying 'Skeet Skeet Skeet--I knew I shouldn't have went out last night. '.
