The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush shoots for a double leg takedown but Blais sprawls well. He's pushed Rush 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice takedown defense from Blais. No joy for Rush on that attempt.
Rush fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Rush . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rush keeps the fight on the outside.
Blais tries to clinch up but Rush circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice sprawl there from Blais as Rush shoots in.
Rush swats away the attempt to clinch by Blais.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Blais goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rush prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blais tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rush 's elbow.
Rush has Blais pushed against the cage.
Blais misses with the head strike.
Rush scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Blais is trying to break the clinch but Rush has him pressed against the cage.
Rush manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Rush has a closed guard, preventing Blais from standing up.
Rush looking for a guillotine here but Blais defends easily.
Blais has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rush to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Blais is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rush pulls down on the head and he's put Blais to sleep! This one is all over!
