The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Experiment shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Poole manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Experiment being controlled here momentarily.
Poole is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Poole working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Experiment doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Experiment manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Poole is on top in guard.

Experiment is striking off his back. Poole thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Experiment displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Poole.

Experiment moves into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Poole takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Experiment has picked Poole up - he's going for a ride! Experiment dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Experiment stops Poole from getting back to his feet.
Experiment perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Poole keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Poole regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Experiment.
Experiment throws a strike but Poole rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Poole gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Experiment tries to close the distance and clinch up but Poole swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Poole shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Experiment pinned against the cage. Experiment gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Poole lands with a kick to the ribs.

Poole has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Experiment is working away from the top position though.

Das Experiment is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Poole pulls Experiment in close to his closed guard and prevents Experiment from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well Experiment has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
