Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Theron (ranked 8466 p4p, 591 weight class) and Gray Cuida (ranked 4646 p4p, 456 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Theron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gray Cuida!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Theron misses.
Cuida is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Theron closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Cuida throws a looping overhand right but Theron ducks down to avoid it.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Cuida manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cuida will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Theron up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Cuida - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Cuida is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Theron can't fight it off and eventually Cuida manages to take the fight to the floor. Theron looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

After the fight, Gray Cuida was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
