Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Petey Bartlett (ranked 268 p4p, 30 weight class) and Jason Carnes (ranked 8222 p4p, 675 weight class). Bartlett comes to the ring accompanied by KEN mode - Counter Culture Complex. Jason Carnes is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Petey Bartlett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Carnes! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bartlett throws a lazy right hand but Carnes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Carnes is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Carnes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bartlett paws at him with a jab and circles away. Carnes wants to clinch up but Bartlett keeps it at a distance. Bartlett ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bartlett avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carnes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bartlett moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Carnes defending well as Bartlett loads up on a big left hand. Carnes ducks under a wild hook from Bartlett. Bartlett keeps the fight on the outside. A quick step to the side and Bartlett tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Bartlett definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bartlett fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carnes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Bartlett lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danga de danga de dang - Carnes scores with a four punch combination! Bartlett throws an overhand right that lands on Carnes's shoulder, as Carnes tries to avoid the shot. Carnes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bartlett counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carnes blocks the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bartlett fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Carnes tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Bartlett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bartlett appears to be looking for a big counter. Bartlett punishes Carnes's body with a nice straight punch. Bartlett pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carnes pushes Bartlett up against the ropes in a clinch. Carnes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bartlett throws out a powerful jab. Carnes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bartlett swats him away and circles back towards the center. Carnes is looking to clinch. A good leg kick by Bartlett. Carnes avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Bartlett swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Carnes throws a low kick but Bartlett moves out of range easily. Bartlett was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Bartlett looks to land a body kick but Carnes moved away. A little jabbing left from Carnes on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bartlett breaks from the clinch.
Carnes throws the kick towards the body but Bartlett avoids it. Bartlett throws a jab when Carnes was well out of range. Carnes throws a sloppy head kick and Bartlett moves out of range easily. Carnes pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bartlett takes a kick to the side of the head. Carnes tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bartlett counters with a straight punch to the midsection. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carnes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Carnes breaks from the clinch.
Carnes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bartlett. Bartlett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bartlett takes a swing at Carnes's ribcage but misses. Despite the aggression on Carnes's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Carnes tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Bartlett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bartlett throws a leg kick but Carnes moved away. Carnes scores with a push kick. Carnes moves out of range as Bartlett strikes. Carnes forces Bartlett back against the ropes and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carnes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Decent striking displayed by Bartlett there. Bartlett is looking to land body kicks. Carnes pushes Bartlett up against the ropes in a clinch. Carnes manages to break the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Carnes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bartlett lands with a right to the head. Bartlett is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carnes can do to turn this around? Carnes keeps control of Bartlett as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Carnes has Bartlett pressed against the ropes, preventing Bartlett from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bartlett is trying to break the clinch but Carnes has him pressed against the ropes. Bartlett softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Carnes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jason Carnes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bartlett scoring well with a low kick there.

Bartlett throws a low kick but Carnes moves out of range easily. Bartlett misses with a low kick as Carnes jumps back. Carnes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bartlett avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bartlett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carnes manages to avoid it. Carnes tries to clinch up but Bartlett circles away and keeps his distance. Carnes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Carnes ducks under a wild hook from Bartlett. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bartlett takes a swing at Carnes's ribcage but misses. Carnes looks to score with a jab to the body but Bartlett is just out of range. Bartlett moves out of range as Carnes throws a body kick.
Petey Bartlett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bartlett scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petey Bartlett is winning the standup battle so far. Bartlett throws a low kick but Carnes avoids it. Bartlett checks the leg kick. Bartlett swings for the body but Carnes moves out of range.

The crowd cheers as Bartlett lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carnes doesn't seem phased though. Carnes tries to clinch but Bartlett is having none of it. Bartlett looks to land a combination but Carnes avoids it well. The fight stays on the outside here - Carnes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bartlett feinted there with a counter leg kick. Bartlett tests Carnes's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carnes throws a body kick that misses. Carnes throws a body shot but no joy. Carnes clinches up against the ropes. Carnes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Carnes throws a body kick that misses and Bartlett counters with a stiff right hand. Carnes fails in his attempt to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but Petey Bartlett did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bartlett keeps Carnes at a distance using the push kick. Carnes tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Bartlett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bartlett lands a nice looking body shot.
Bartlett looks to throw the jab but Carnes is out of range. Carnes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bartlett half committed to a counter leg kick. Carnes throws a lazy head kick and Bartlett counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bartlett tries to score with a low kick but Carnes moves his leg out of the way. Bartlett jabs Carnes to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bartlett connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Carnes's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Carnes - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Petey Bartlett! After winning the bout, Petey Bartlett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
