Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joao Miguel (ranked 8543 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reiner Brawn (ranked 6053 p4p, 0 weight class). Reiner Brawn will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joao Miguel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reiner Brawn! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miguel fails with a takedown attempt. Miguel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brawn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Miguel defends it well. Brawn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Miguel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brawn counters with a single leg into guard. Miguel didn't expect that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brawn showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Brawn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miguel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brawn has managed to get both his arms back between Miguel's legs - danger averted. Miguel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miguel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brawn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brawn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Miguel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Miguel tries to get out of the position. Miguel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Brawn controlling from the top position. It looks like Brawn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Miguel tries for a takedown but Brawn circles away easily and Brawn counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Miguel. That's going to take a lot out of him. A lull in the action here. Brawn is continuing to stall. Brawn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Brawn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Brawn. Miguel is breathing heavily. Brawn works to advance to full mount. Miguel defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Brawn controlling the position easily from mount.

Reiner Brawn dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Joao Miguel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brawn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brawn wants it to stay on the feet. Miguel darts in looking for a takedown but Brawn gets double underhooks and turns Miguel into the cage. Brawn has been the more effective fighter overall so far. As Miguel backs off Brawn throws a huge counter combo but Miguel manages to avoid it all. Brawn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miguel.
Miguel fails to land the takedown. Brawn feints the counter takedown. Miguel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brawn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miguel.
And Brawn tries to counter it with a takedown but Miguel pushes his down on his head and steps out. Brawn leaves Miguel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miguel fails to land the takedown. Brawn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Brawn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miguel. Brawn feints the counter takedown. Miguel goes for a double leg but Brawn avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brawn continues to drive forward. Miguel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Brawn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Miguel misses with a hook. Brawn circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miguel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And Brawn tries to counter it with a takedown but Miguel pushes his down on his head and steps out. Miguel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brawn tries to avoid it but Miguel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brawn to the ground. Brawn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brawn avoids the head kick by Miguel.
Miguel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brawn's waist but Brawn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miguel off to one side. Miguel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brawn avoids it really well and circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miguel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brawn defends well and Miguel ends up having to push Brawn into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reiner Brawn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Horrible takedown attempt by Miguel or perhaps it was just good defense by Brawn, which made it look bad. Brawn tries to counter by closing the distance. Miguel tries to clinch there but Brawn circles away.
Miguel gets a double leg takedown into Brawn's guard. Brawn has his feet on Miguel's thighs here. He's pushed Miguel off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Miguel screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
