Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graham Conrad (ranked 25089 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Woods (ranked 6236 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Conrad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Woods! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Woods finds it's way through Conrad's defenses. Conrad closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Woods fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Conrad manages to avoid it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Conrad. Woods moves out of range of the strikes. Conrad could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woods lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Woods lands with a right hand. Woods scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Jake Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conrad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Woods throws out a counter right but Conrad avoids it with no problem. Woods connects with the punch. Woods with a hook. Woods clinches. Woods wants to get back to striking at distance but Conrad won't allow it.
Woods is trying to push Conrad away but Conrad has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Woods lands with a short punch from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conrad keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Woods's efforts to push away. Conrad tries a body shot but Woods blocks it.
Conrad tries to pull guard but Woods won't allow it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Woods creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Woods. Woods wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Conrad has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods has Conrad pressed against the cage.
Conrad will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Woods up against the cage. Woods displaying some good clinch control by pressing Conrad up against the cage. Conrad is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Conrad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Woods's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Woods has had enough of the clinch but Conrad keeps him there for the moment. A nice left hand lands by Woods.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Conrad changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Woods fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Conrad looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Woods dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A left and a right from Woods both land. Nice combination. Woods thuds a left hand into Conrad's body. Conrad looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jake Woods seems to be getting the better of the standup. Woods connects with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woods fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Conrad has his takedown stuffed and Woods counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conrad with a lazy takedown attempt and Woods counters with a straight right hand. Conrad gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Woods cracks a nice hook into Conrad's ribs. Conrad fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Conrad. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Conrad. No joy for Woods on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Graham Conrad is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Conrad shoots in looking for a takedown. Woods tries to sprawl out of it but Conrad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Woods manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Woods looks like he wants to counter punch here. Conrad ducks right into an uppercut from Woods.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods clobbers Conrad with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Conrad moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Woods scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Conrad doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Woods, as that shot connected.

Woods throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Woods lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Woods instigates a clinch. Woods is struggling to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Conrad letting Woods take a breather here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Woods showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Woods bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nice body punch from Woods. Conrad avoids a kick to the body.

Woods has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Conrad's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Woods connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Conrad scrambles back to his feet. Conrad takes a shot right to the bread basket. Woods avoids the head kick by Conrad.
Conrad moves forwards but Woods connects with a nice, crisp jab. Conrad gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Conrad paws at him with a jab and circles away. Conrad went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Conrad takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Woods throws a head kick but Conrad moves out of range.
Conrad walks into a left hand. Woods fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Conrad looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Woods lands with a nice combination. Conrad backs away looking to recover. This has been an exciting period of action! Woods closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Conrad has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Woods is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Woods is trying to push Conrad away but Conrad has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Conrad's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Conrad blocks an uppercut.
Woods tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Conrad looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Conrad keeps control of Woods as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Woods wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Conrad drops down looking for an ankle pick but Woods pulls his leg out and moves away.
Woods is looking to clinch but Conrad is avoiding it.
Conrad changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woods tries to avoid it but Conrad manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woods to the ground. Woods escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Conrad. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conrad is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Woods lands a jab to the nose.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Woods comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Woods has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
