Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Bridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout has chosen Slaughterhouse-Wack MC's as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Edward Stout enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Stout!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridge lands a big shot that drops Stout! Can he finish him?


Stout is rocked!


It looks like Edward Stout has been cut.
Stout has a closed guard, preventing Bridge from standing up.
Stout is still in real trouble! Can Bridge finish him?
Bridge pushes down on Stout's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bridge not doing much here.
Stout is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bridge throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stout seems to have recovered his senses.
Stout avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bridge.
Bridge not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Stout is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bridge is pressing down on Stout's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stout is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bridge uses his free foot to push down on Stout's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stout.
Bridge prevents Stout from getting the reversal.

Bridge lands a nice shot to the head.
Bridge is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Bridge postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stout looks a forlorn figure.
Stout is squirming around, avoiding Bridge's attempts to control the action.
Bridge lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bridge wants to control the pace but Stout is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stout is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bridge trying to control but Stout is having none of it.
Stout tries to hold on but Bridge pushes him away.
Bridge tries to control but Stout wriggling away.
Bridge controlling the position easily from mount.

Stout is working to get back to half guard.
Bridge landing shots from mount.
Stout is in a horrible position here. Bridge smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bridge content just to control the position here.
Bridge lands a nice shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bridge thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Bridge tries to control but Stout wriggling away.
Bridge is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Stout bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bridge trying to control the position.
Bridge is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stout is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Stout is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bridge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bridge has escaped and now he's on top!

Stout is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stout looks gassed!

Stout working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bridge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bridge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bridge trying to control but Stout is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jonny Bridge just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bridge.
Bridge fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stout.
Stout takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bridge thows a body kick. Stout tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bridge scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stout doesn't seem bothered though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonny Bridge dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Edward Stout's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bridge smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bridge ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bridge ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Stout out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jonny Bridge!
Jonny Bridge is the new middleweight champion!
