The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popov blocks a jab.
Popov cracks Mendez with a good jab.
It looks like Carlitos Mendez has been cut.
Popov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Popov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mendez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Popov throwing strikes from guard but Mendez blocks nicely.
