so Rangel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Rangel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Richardson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rangel has Richardson in his guard.

Richardson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rangel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Richardson wants to pass the guard but Rangel is keeping the position.

Rangel has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Richardson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rangel has tightened it up now! Richardson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
