Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Porfirio Mcpherson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luis Sanches! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanches looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sanches has managed to clinch.
Sanches pulls Mcpherson into guard.
Sanches is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mcpherson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sanches throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Sanches has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcpherson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sanches pulls Mcpherson in close to his closed guard and prevents Mcpherson from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanches is continuing to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcpherson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mcpherson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanches on the ground. Sanches is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sanches has Mcpherson pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sanches wants to stand but Mcpherson is controlling the position. Sanches is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Sanches's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mcpherson preventing the sweep. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sanches has his hands on Mcpherson's head, controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanches scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanches taking a breather here. Mcpherson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sanches in side control lands a decent elbow. Sanches happy to just control the position for now. Sanches lands some shots froms side control. Mcpherson is being controlled here. Check out the look on Sanches's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Mcpherson is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanches advances to full mount. Oh Mcpherson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sanches looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Mcpherson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
