The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tenant breaks from the clinch.

Tenant closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Higgins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Higgins is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Higgins gets a clinch.
Tenant is pressed up against the cage. Higgins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tenant down to the mat. Tenant avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Higgins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tenant to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Higgins has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tenant off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Higgins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tenant takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

I would just about give that final round to Adam Tenant.
Well Tenant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
