Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Punchy (ranked 1764 p4p, 229 weight class) and Jorge Domingo (ranked 1962 p4p, 260 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Domingo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Domingo throws a looping overhand right but Punchy ducks down to avoid it.

Punchy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Domingo's waist but Domingo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punchy off to one side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Punchy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Despite the aggression on Domingo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Punchy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Punchy connects with a nice short shot to Domingo's temple.

I think Domingo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
