Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bich Nga (ranked 3479 p4p, 434 weight class) and Zorba The Dancing Buddha (ranked 5540 p4p, 586 weight class). The Dancing Buddha has chosen Zorba Time as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Bich Nga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zorba The Dancing Buddha!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nga misses the shot to the body.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The Dancing Buddha shoots for a double leg takedown but Nga sprawls well. He's pushed The Dancing Buddha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The Dancing Buddha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The Dancing Buddha is in Nga's guard.

Nga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Dancing Buddha can do to turn this around?

Nga has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nga just misses with a elbow thrown towards The Dancing Buddha's brow.

Nga can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
