Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Chegwin (ranked 6110 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lesliah Souza (ranked 5966 p4p, 612 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keith Chegwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lesliah Souza! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Souza tries to clinch up but Chegwin circles away and keeps his distance. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Souza!
Nice shot by Souza. Souza scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Souza keeps Chegwin at a distance using the push kick. Souza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chegwins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chegwin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Souza - the referee stops the clock and Chegwin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Souza. Chegwin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Souza lands a high kick!
It looks like Keith Chegwin has been cut. Souza throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chegwin's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chegwin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A right-left combo lands from Souza. Chegwin misses with a straight left. Despite the aggression on Souza's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Chegwin swats away the attempt to clinch by Souza. Chegwin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Souza is looking for the big counter here. Chegwin throws an overhand right that lands on Souza's shoulder, as Souza tries to avoid the shot. Souza scores with a nice body kick.
Souza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza throws a head kick that half lands.
Souza throws a sloppy head kick and Chegwin moves out of range easily. Chegwin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Chegwin throws a leg kick but Souza moved away. Souza is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. A nice inside leg kick there by Souza. That's going to slow Chegwin down. Souza scores with a leg kick.
Souza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An attempted straight right counter from Chegwin misses the target. Souza throws a nice outside leg kick. Chegwin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Souza looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Souza is looking to get back to his feet here but Chegwin is keeping cool and he's managed to take Souza's back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chegwin is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Souza is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Keith Chegwin! After winning the bout, Keith Chegwin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
