Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erick Reis (ranked 24617 p4p, 631 weight class) and Harold Stephenson (ranked 6842 p4p, 555 weight class). Reis comes into the arena with MC Kekel - Solteiro até morrer blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stephenson moves away.
Reis throws a body shot but no joy.
Reis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stephenson circles away quickly and effectively.
Stephenson avoids the body shot from Reis.

Stephenson takes the fight into the clinch.
Stephenson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Stephenson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stephenson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Reis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Stephenson is trying to trip Reis. He has hold of a leg but Reis is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stephenson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stephenson is pushing down on Reis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reis is fighting to maintain full guard but Stephenson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Stephenson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Reis sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stephenson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Reis is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
