And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferlakov tries to bum rush Banes with a series of wild strikes but Banes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Banes connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Anderi Ferlakov has been cut.
Banes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ferlakov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ferlakov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Banes slaps away a takedown attempt from Ferlakov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ferlakov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Banes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ferlakov is in Banes's guard.

Ferlakov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Banes to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ferlakov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Banes pulls down on the head and he's put Ferlakov to sleep! This one is all over!
