Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoel Assuie (ranked 5060 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Ninja (ranked 5634 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yoel Assuie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Ninja! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ninja throws a good cross that connects.
Assuie slips a straight right by Ninja. Ninja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Assuie's waist but Assuie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ninja off to one side. Ninja throws a shot to the body.
Ninja tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Assuie swivels and escapes. Ninja swings for the body but Assuie moves out of range.
Assuie swings and misses with a shot to the body and Ninja counters with a lovely straight right hand! Karl Ninja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Assuie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ninja thows a left - swing and a miss! Ninja lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ninja shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Assuie eats them both and turns towards Ninja to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ninja lands a nice hook to Assuie's body. Assuie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Assuie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ninja tries to avoid it but Assuie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ninja to the ground. Ninja escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Assuie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ninja misses with a looping left. Ninja shoots for a takedown but Assuie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Yoel Assuie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Ninja. Assuie gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A nice right hand lands inside from Ninja. Assuie swings wildly with an uppercut but Ninja uses good head movement to avoid it. Ninja's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Ninja misses with a punch on the inside.
Assuie manages to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Assuie lands some strikes from the bottom. Ninja is looking to stand up but Assuie won't let him. Assuie uses the cage to get back to his feet.
No luck for Ninja with that takedown attempt. The fighters circle momentarily. Ninja darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Assuie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Assuie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ninja, as that shot connected.
Ninja lands with an overhand left. Ninja fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assuie tries for a takedown but Ninja circles away easily and Ninja counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ninja lunges at Assuie with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Assuie's hand. Ninja goes for a double leg but Assuie avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Assuie continues to drive forward. Ninja throws a nice looking combination but Assuie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Assuie tries to counter with a takedown but Ninja is quick to defend against it. Assuie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ninja.
Assuie throws a big counter combination but Ninja scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Assuie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ninja can do anything to dispel that myth. Assuie landing strikes. Ninja is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Assuie working the head with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assuie lands a few punches from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Assuie is looking to take a break and control but Ninja is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ninja really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Assuie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ninja wants to get back to his feet but Assuie is dominant here and he's now got Ninja's back! Ninja wants to get back to his feet. Ninja is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Ninja defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Assuie's arms. Ninja wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Karl Ninja will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Assuie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ninja throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Assuie tries to counter by clinching up but Ninja breaks away and moves out of range. Assuie shoots and misses and Ninja counters with a lovely straight right hand! Assuie throws a head kick but Ninja moves out of range.
Donk. Ninja catches Assuie right on the button with a cross. Assuie tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ninja rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Assuie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Assuie went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ninja throws a leg kick but Assuie sees it coming and checks it nicely. Assuie wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Ninja lands with a good body shot. Ninja darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A shot to the liver by Assuie. Beautiful body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Assuie thumps Ninja with a low kick. Assuie shoots in for a double leg but Ninja sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Assuie takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Ninja fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Assuie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A swing and a miss from Ninja. Ninja lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ninja connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ninja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Assuie as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ninja circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ninja throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Assuie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ninja tries to sprawl but Assuie drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ninja on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ninja looks like he's trying to stand up.
Assuie wants to control but Ninja is keeping him busy. Assuie slips a nice elbow through Ninja's hands, connecting with Ninja's forehead. Assuie working Ninja over with strikes. Assuie trying to control the pace. Assuie trying to control from half guard but Ninja is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assuie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ninja with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ninja wants to get back to his feet. Nice strikes from Assuie there. Ninja is staying active underneath Assuie, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Assuie working the head and body with strikes. Assuie is looking to take a break and control but Ninja is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Assuie prevents Ninja from standing back up.
Assuie trying to pass the guard but Ninja defending well. Assuie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assuie is nestled in close to Ninja, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Assuie working the head and body with strikes. Ninja pushes Assuie off but Assuie dives into side control.
We've been hearing that Assuie has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Ninja wants to get back to his feet but Assuie drags him back down. Assuie connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ninja some visible discomfort.
Check out the look on Assuie's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Ninja bucks up and tries to throw Assuie off but instead Assuie has got his back! Assuie is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Ninja won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Assuie off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yoel Assuie!
