Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundy moves into the clinch successfully.
Timo breaks from the clinch.
Lundy slaps away a takedown attempt from Timo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lundy closes the distance and pushes Timo back into the cage.
Timo has had enough of the clinch but Lundy keeps him there for the moment.
Lundy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lundy takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Lundy gets through Timo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lundy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Timo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lundy cracks a nice hook into Timo's ribs.

Timo tries to break the clinch but Lundy is controlling the position.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lundy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Timo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lundy smiles and moves away.
Oh Timo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lundy has managed to clinch.
Lundy lands a hook that snaps the head of Timo backwards.
Lundy dips a shoulder and cracks Timo with a mighty uppercut! Timo falls back against the cage and Lundy unloads with a barrage of strikes! Timo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lundy screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
