Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jefferies shoots in looking for a takedown. Emelianenko tries to sprawl out of it but Jefferies keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Emelianenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Emelianenko shoots in and gets a takedown into Jefferies's guard.

Emelianenko is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Emelianenko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jefferies's guard.
Emelianenko moves into full mount! Jefferies won't be happy about that!

Emelianenko wants to finish this one by submission but Jefferies is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jefferies manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Jefferies is looking for a sweep.
Emelianenko has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jefferies is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Emelianenko yanks on the arm and Jefferies is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Emelianenko.
