Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krom Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Budimon!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budimon misses the jab.
Kong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Budimon misses with a hook
and Kong counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kong.
Budimon swings widly with a right hand
and Kong finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Kong moves out of range as Budimon strikes.
Kong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Budimon throws out the jab.
Kong fires out a quick counter leg kick but Budimon just manages to avoid it.
Kong seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A punch lands to the side of Kong 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kong connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Budimon misses the body punch
letting Kong counter with a right hand.
Kong slips a straight right by Budimon.
Budimon throws a jab when Kong was well out of range.
Budimon misses the body punch
and Kong counters with a nice low kick that buckles Budimon's knee momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Budimon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kong fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Budimon on the side of the head.
Budimon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Budimon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kong takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Budimon scores with a jab to the body.
Budimon throws a looping overhand right but Kong ducks down to avoid it.
Kong is looking to counter punch.
Budimon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kong was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Budimon.
Budimon swings widly with a right hand
and Kong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A looping hook to the body misses from Budimon. Kong does a little dance to reset his feet.
A big left from Budimon misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Budimon throws a shot from downtown. Kong moves away and avoids it.
Kong tried to counter with a leg kick but Budimon avoided it.
Budimon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kong lands a leg kick that knocks Budimon off balance momentarily.
Kong moves away from the strike by Budimon.
Budimon throws an overhand right that lands on Kong's shoulder, as Kong tries to avoid the shot.
Kong fires out a quick counter leg kick but Budimon just manages to avoid it.
Budimon throws a hook but Kong avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Kong on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Budimon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Budimon tests Kong's chin there with a solid looking shot.


Kong is rocked!
Budimon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Kong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kong is breathing heavily.
Budimon fakes the body blow, causing Kong to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kong goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Simon Budimon!
Our winner, Simon Budimon, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Krom Kong stepped up to the mic, saying 'U were to good tonite'.
