EFA 14 Kelly vs Carpenter PBP Commentary |
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kelly lands with a hook. Carpenter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kelly slips a straight right by Carpenter.
Kelly throws a big shot that misses.
Carpenter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelly moves away.
A leg kick checked by Kelly.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.
A good leg kick by Kelly.
Kelly shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Carpenter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kelly has time to react.

Despite the aggression on Carpenter's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

letting Carpenter counter with a right hand.

Carpenter cracks Kelly with a good jab.

Carpenter lands a big head kick that sends Kelly tumbling to the mat! Carpenter takes a step backwards and waves Kelly back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kelly is rocked!
Carpenter cracks Kelly on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kelly falls backwards against the cage. Carpenter follows up with more strikes that drop Kelly to his knees. Carpenter keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kelly! This one is all over!
