Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Taylor (ranked 5958 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boltzmann Brian (ranked 6111 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lee Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boltzmann Brian! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brian misses with a low kick as Taylor jumps back. Brian lands a nice leg kick that just misses Taylor's sensitive parts. No luck with that takedown attempt from Taylor. Brian misses with a head kick.
Brian fails with the takedown and Taylor counters with a one-two to the body. Taylor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brian defends well and Taylor ends up having to push Brian into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brian moves into the clinch. Brian is working for takedown but Taylor is calmly controlling the position for now. Brian lands a left hand.
Taylor jumps guard and drags Brian to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brian sitting in guard, not really doing much. Brian tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard. Brian is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Taylor could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Brian looking to pass the guard. Brian won't allow Taylor to sweep him here. Taylor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Brian wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Taylor pulls Brian in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Taylor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brian tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance. Brian looks to throw the jab but Taylor is out of range. Taylor swinging wildly here.
Taylor staying out of range there. Taylor changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Taylor clinches up with Brian and pushes him back against the cage. Taylor lands a nice shot to the body. Brian gets underhooks to prevent Taylor's takedown attempt.
Taylor unloads a knee to the mid-section. Brian lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stalling in the clinch from Brian.
Taylor tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Taylor looking to slow down the pace here. Brian misses with an elbow over the top. Brian throws an elbow but it misses.
Taylor is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Taylor tries to pull guard but Brian forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Brian decides to pull guard. Brian is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Brian is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brian lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Taylor keeping full guard, as Brian tries to pass. Brian is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brian slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boltzmann Brian dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A nice inside leg kick there by Taylor. That's going to slow Brian down. Brian closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Taylor to the mat! Taylor manages to get full guard. Brian trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brian looking to sit in guard and control but Taylor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Brian keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor being controlled here momentarily. Brian working for submissions but it's allowed Taylor to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brian is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Taylor is just content to waste time from the top position. Brian takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Taylor throws a big elbow that misses. Taylor wants to stand and escape but instead Brian has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Brian preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brian wants to pass the guard but Taylor is keeping the position. Brian drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Taylor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brian has Taylor in his guard. Brian keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brian holds on and takes a little breather. Brian looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brian is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Brian escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Brian avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Taylor throwing strikes but missing. Boltzmann Brian has got the better of the ground game so far. Taylor postures up.
Brian is working an open guard so Taylor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Horrible takedown attempt by Brian or perhaps it was just good defense by Taylor, which made it look bad. As Brian tries to get set, Taylor tries to push him back and clinch up but Brian manages to avoid the attempt. Brian dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
Brian misses with a straight left. Taylor went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Brian scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt - Brian sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brian. Brian throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lee Taylor will probably get the nod. That's time! Taylor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Taylor fails to land the takedown. Brian unleashes a big counter combination but Taylor bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Brian defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Taylor. Taylor tries to clinch up. And Brian tries to counter it with a takedown but Taylor pushes his down on his head and steps out. Taylor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Taylor moves out of range of the body kick from Brian.
A head kick misses from Brian. Brian pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brian throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Taylor counters with a one-two to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brian misses with a right hand and Taylor counters with a three punch combo that has Brian backing up. Brian nods at Taylor to acknowledge the strikes. Brian tries to land a front kick but Taylor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brian throws a sloppy head kick and Taylor moves out of range easily. Lee Taylor is winning the standup battle so far. Brian rushes Taylor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Taylor is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brian to keep the fight standing. Brian doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Taylor has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brian avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Brian misses with a short punch on the inside. Brian gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Brian pushes off an throws an elbow but Taylor leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Brian jumps into guard, dragging Taylor to the mat.
Brian controls Taylor momentarily but Taylor frees himself. Taylor with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brian is controlling Taylor's posture. Brian is continuing to stall. Taylor preventing the sweep. Brian is pulling down on Taylor's head to control his posture.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brian lands with a straight right. Taylor didn't see that one coming. Taylor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taylor somewhat. Brian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taylor's guard. Taylor uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Brian throws a head kick but Taylor moves out of range.

and Brian counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brian trying to control the action but Taylor is working from the bottom. Taylor is in trouble now - Brian has advanced to mount! Taylor wants to hold on but Brian pushes him away. Brian manages to capitalize on a mistake by Taylor to take his back! Taylor is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Taylor is trying to break free.
And that's the end of the fight! Boltzmann Brian comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brian has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
