Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hammer moves out of range as Thompson strikes.
Hammer throws a counter combo.
Thompson throws an overhand right that lands on Hammer's shoulder, as Hammer tries to avoid the shot.
Hammer with the counter takedown but Thompson avoids it easily.
Thompson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thompson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hammer counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Hammer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Thompson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer works over Thompson with some ground and pound from guard.
Hammer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Thompson controls Hammer momentarily but Hammer frees himself.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Hammer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A very excited looking Nails Hammer made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Enoch Thompson was interviewed post fight and said 'If kickboxing dies I will retire. This might be my last fight.'.
