McCartney's entrance music is Lord of the Boy. A fine choice. Pacquiao is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Phenomenal. Austin McCartney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao instigates a clinch.
McCartney jumps guard but Pacquiao turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The referee is keeping an eye on Pacquiao - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

McCartney is looking to take this one to the mat.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

McCartney goes for a takedown attempt but Pacquiao pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Pacquiao blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pacquiao takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
McCartney goes for a takedown attempt but Pacquiao pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McCartney throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pacquiao scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McCartney explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCartney manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pacquiao manages to get himself to full guard.

Pacquiao is looking to stand up but McCartney isn't so interested in that idea.

McCartney passes Pacquiao's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Pacquiao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCartney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pacquiao is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McCartney is trying to control the action in half guard but Pacquiao is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
McCartney stops Pacquiao from getting back to his feet.

McCartney tries to sprawl but Pacquiao drives through with a takedown into half guard.
McCartney wants to control but Pacquiao is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCartney is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pacquiao pulls his head out easily.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Pacquiao. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
McCartney manages to get to full guard.

McCartney is looking to cinch up a triangle. Pacquiao throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to McCartney's body to avoid the submission. McCartney has instead reached around Pacquiao's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! McCartney arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Manny Pacquiao spoke after the fight, saying 'Congratulations to my opponent, but I'm sorry to ruin the party because that belt will soon be mine'.
