And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gus McKenna!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiddlywinks misses with a low kick as McKenna jumps back.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McKenna! But no joy.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tiddlywinks.
Tiddlywinks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McKenna scores with the left hand. Tiddlywinks knows he should have avoided that one.
Tiddlywinks throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Tiddlywinks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McKenna's calf.

McKenna looks to land a left hand but Tiddlywinks moved out of range nicely.
McKenna misses with an uppercut. Tiddlywinks saw that one coming.

and McKenna connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tiddlywinks was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McKenna walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tiddlywinks.

That kick from Tiddlywinks tenderised McKenna's leg. McKenna is trying to keep his angry face on.
McKenna takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Tiddlywinks thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McKenna if he has to take too many more of those.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McKenna might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Tiddlywinks has got the better of the exchanges.

McKenna fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tiddlywinks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McKenna misses with a hook. Tiddlywinks ducked under it nicely.
It looked like Tiddlywinks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tiddlywinks jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tiddlywinks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McKenna. That did some damage!

Tiddlywinks is rocked!
McKenna ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Tiddlywinks's jaw. Tiddlywinks's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! McKenna does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gus McKenna!
A determined Gus McKenna didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
