Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Poron Doron (ranked 4896 p4p, 531 weight class) and Karl Liebknecht (ranked 6197 p4p, 599 weight class). Poron Doron had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doron misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doron checks a leg kick nicely.
Liebknecht bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Doron's head.
Doron blocks a leg kick.
Liebknecht tries to clinch up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Liebknecht looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Doron throwing a counter right hand but Liebknecht manages to avoid it.
Liebknecht misses with a low kick as Doron jumps back.
Liebknecht scores with a sloppy right hand. Doron should have avoided that one.

Liebknecht staggers Doron with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Doron looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

It looks like Poron Doron has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Doron forces Liebknecht back against the ropes and clinches.
Liebknecht swings wildly with an uppercut but Doron uses good head movement to avoid it.
Doron blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Liebknecht avoiding damage.

Liebknecht misses with a hook from the clinch.
Liebknecht is pushing Doron up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Liebknecht stalling in the clinch but Doron improves position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Liebknecht is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Doron has denied him.

Doron misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Liebknecht cracks Doron with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Doron goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Doron wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
