Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jer Bear (ranked 2790 p4p, 319 weight class) and Samson Goldstein (ranked 1553 p4p, 178 weight class). Bear comes to the cage accompanied by Good Times. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

31 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Samson Goldstein! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldstein scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Jer Bear has been cut. Bear cracks Goldstein with a good jab.
It looks like Samson Goldstein has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bear moves out of range of the strikes. Bear has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Goldstein uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bear has time to react. Goldstein cracks Bear with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Goldstein has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bear to stand back up!
Bear is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Are you kidding me?! Goldstein ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Bear clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samson Goldstein! Samson Goldstein was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
