The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson swings widly with a right hand
and Anderson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Karter moves out of range as Anderson strikes.
Karter's jab looks to have found its range, popping Anderson under the eye.
Karter looks to land a left hand but Anderson moved out of range nicely.
Karter lands a slapping body shot.
Karter throws an off balance right hand
and Anderson counters with a stiff right hand.
Karter digs a good body shot into Anderson's ribs.
Anderson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karter.
Anderson feints the counter takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Anderson. Karter does a little dance to reset his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Anderson misses the target.
Karter is looking to counter with a body kick.
Karter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut.
Karter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anderson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karter.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karter scores with a nice strike.
Karter throws a hook to the side of Anderson's head but Anderson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A jab from Karter finds it's way through Anderson's defenses.
Anderson is rocked!
Anderson is aggressively charging in as Karter backs up avoiding any damage. Karter tosses out a jab and Anderson runs right into it face first! Anderson is out cold! Karter dropped down on all fours and is barking in Anderson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Karter!
