The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Canoe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Alvarez stuffs the takedown attempt from Canoe. Canoe gets slowly back to his feet.
Alvarez appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Canoe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alvarez's waist but Alvarez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Canoe off to one side.
