Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between KJ Lyons (ranked 6113 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Tempest (ranked 5128 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, KJ Lyons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Tempest!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tempest clinches up with Lyons and pushes him back against the cage.
Tempest lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lyons backwards.
Lyons is looking to break free of the clinch but Tempest has double underhooks.
Tempest looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lyons is pushing Tempest up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Lyons jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tempest walks away with a smile on his face. Lyons gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tempest closes the distance and clinches.
Lyons's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lyons tries to pull guard but Tempest forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for KJ Lyons. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Tempest lands with a light punch inside.
Tempest working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Lyons has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tempest after a bit of a struggle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tempest lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Lyons fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A shot in the inside from Tempest.
Lyons wants to break free but Tempest has control.
A frustrated look appears on Lyons's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tempest lands with a left to the head.

Lyons is rocked!
Tempest working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Oh Lyons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tempest pushes Lyons against the cage. Tempest is working some dirty boxing. Tempest pushes off with a quick right hook! Lyons goes down! Lyons tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Tempest moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joey Tempest!
