The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jester closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jason tried to score with a low kick but Jester checks it.
Jason scores with a jab to the head.

Jester uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jason.
Jester tries to counter by clinching up but Jason breaks away and moves out of range.
Jester closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jester is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jester prevents Jason from improving his position.
Jason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jester is thwarting Jason's attempts to control the position.

Jason manages to get to full guard.
Jason wants to sweep here but Jester controlling him for the moment.

Jester loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jester drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jason looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jason looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jason!
Jester gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Jason takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
