Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Bozeck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magyan Murko!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozeck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murko.
A slow jab from Murko misses its intended target.
Bozeck misses with a low kick as Murko jumps back.
Bozeck lands with a nice combination. Murko backs away looking to recover.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Murko jumps guard and drags Bozeck to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bozeck is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Murko keeping moving, preventing Bozeck from controlling successfully.
Murko is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murko's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bozeck trying to control but Murko is working from the bottom.
Bozeck is looking to stand up but Murko won't let him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Murko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Bozeck blocks the leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Murko finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Bozeck throws a combination. Murko tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bozeck lands a big head kick that sends Murko tumbling to the mat! Bozeck takes a step backwards and waves Murko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Murko is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Murko looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Murko is still on wobbly legs! Can Bozeck finish him?
Bozeck waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Murko.
Murko throws a lazy body kick
and Bozeck counters with a huge left! Murko is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bozeck isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Murko from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bozeck!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brad Bozeck!
