Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felipe rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Felipe is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Smith can't fight it off and eventually Felipe manages to take the fight to the floor. Smith looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Felipe stopping the sweep attempt from Smith.
Felipe tries to free his leg and advance position but Smith is retaining full guard.
Felipe stays in close to Smith's body and controls the position.
Smith is looking for a triangle but Felipe pushes his legs off easily.

Felipe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A counter left hand to the body from Smith misses its target.
Felipe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Smith is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Felipe avoids the attempt from Smith to control.

Smith wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Smith is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Smith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Felipe is persistently looking for the submission but Smith is defending it well.

Felipe is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Smith's half guard.
Felipe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Felipe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Felipe throws an elbow that misses. Smith uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Felipe's guard. Nice move by Smith!
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Felipe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Felipe pushes Smith off and gets back to his feet.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Felipe sprawls well.
Felipe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smith manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Felipe wanted to stand there but Smith had control of the position.
Felipe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Smith has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Felipe doesn't defend quickly enough and Smith has managed to lock this one up! Can Felipe escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Smith on a fantastic submission victory.
