PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Niudu Kakka (ranked 4054 p4p, 419 weight class) and Tony The Tuba (ranked 25187 p4p, 674 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niudu Kakka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony The Tuba !
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Tuba misses with a few strikes there.
The Tuba rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kakka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kakka moves into range and connects with a jab.
Some wild striking there from The Tuba .
Kakka seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Kakka connects with a body shot that sends The Tuba 's belly button to the back.
A nice inside leg kick there by The Tuba . That's going to slow Kakka down.
The Tuba throws a jab when Kakka was well out of range.
Kakka digs a good body shot into The Tuba 's ribs.
The Tuba looks winded!
Kakka dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The Tuba throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kakka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Tony The Tuba has been cut.

Kakka forces The Tuba back against the cage and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kakka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kakka misses with a head kick.
Kakka scores with a nice strike.

Kakka closes the distance and clinches.

Kakka manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Tuba with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kakka to score with a decent uppercut.

Kakka thuds a left hand into The Tuba 's body.
Kakka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kakka feints a jab promting The Tuba to slip. Kakka then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. The Tuba slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
No joy there for Kakka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kakka clinches.

Kakka breaks from the clinch.

Kakka lands a big head kick that sends The Tuba tumbling to the mat! Kakka takes a step backwards and waves The Tuba back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The Tuba is rocked!
Kakka seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kakka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The Tuba is still on wobbly legs! Can Kakka finish him?
Kakka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kakka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kakka pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces The Tuba back to the cage. Kakka follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kakka throws a perfectly timed hook that sends The Tuba crashing down! The Tuba tries to stagger back to his feet but Kakka just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused The Tuba asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Niudu Kakka!
