The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holtzmann looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Holtzmann shoots in and drives through. Marvel sprawls well.
Marvel cracks Holtzmann with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Holtzmann takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Marvel has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Marvel counters with a nice uppercut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holtzmann can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marvel controls the pace.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Holtzmann has his foot on Marvel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marvel works his way back into a safe position though.

Marvel wants to control from the top but Holtzmann keeps moving.
Marvel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Holtzmann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Holtzmann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Marvel defends it easily.
Holtzmann has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Marvel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Holtzmann has tightened it up now! Marvel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
