Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Bushey (ranked 5606 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 5738 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Bushey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Wayne! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Bushey darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Adam Bushey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wayne displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bushey throws out the jab. Wayne takes the fight into the clinch. Wayne can't get the takedown.
Wayne lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bushey backwards. Bushey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bushey wants to get back to striking at distance but Wayne won't allow it.
Bushey is defending well against a takedown attempt. Bushey is trying to break the clinch but Wayne is controlling him. Wayne pulls guard effortlessly. Bushey lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wayne holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bushey scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wayne working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bushey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bushey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wayne has his foot on Bushey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bushey works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bushey landing some decent shots from guard. Bushey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wayne utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bushey throws an elbow that misses. Wayne uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bushey's guard. Nice move by Wayne! Wayne stays in close to Bushey's body and controls the position. Bushey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wayne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bushey is looking to stand up but Wayne isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wayne looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bushey wriggles free and stands up. Bushey connects with a looping right hand.
Bushey misses with a looping left. Wayne misses with a takedown attempt - Bushey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Adam Bushey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Wayne.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wayne gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bushey to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wayne pulls Bushey in close to prevent any damage. Wayne is looking to stand up but Bushey isn't so interested in that idea. Wayne scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bushey sprawls well. Bushey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wayne gets slowly back to his feet. Bushey looks to land a left hand but Wayne moved out of range nicely. Wayne slips a straight right by Bushey.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne fails with a takedown attempt. Bushey thows a left - swing and a miss! Wayne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bushey swivels and escapes. Wayne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bushey defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wayne. Wayne looks winded! The crowd cheers as Bushey lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wayne doesn't seem phased though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wayne wants to clinch. Bushey lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've been informed that Wayne has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Bushey clinches with his opponent.
Bushey working hard to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Bushey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bushey but Bushey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bushey instigates a clinch. Wayne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bushey walks away with a smile on his face. Wayne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fight stays on the outside here - Wayne looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wayne has a takedown stuffed. Adam Bushey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Wayne. Wayne tries to clinch up. Bruce Wayne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bushey swinging wildly here.
Bushey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wayne can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bushey loads up on a big right hand but Wayne slips the punch. Wayne walks into a stiff left hand from Bushey. Bushey tries to clinch up. Wayne tries to clinch there but Bushey circles away.
Wayne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wayne tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wayne wants to clinch. It looked like Bushey was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wayne. Wayne closes the distance looking to clinch and Bushey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Bruce Wayne has been cut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bushey. Wayne just misses with a punch to the body.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bushey is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Wayne throws a right and a left that both miss. Wayne moves away from the strike by Bushey. Oooh a lovely combination from Bushey sends Wayne down but not out. Bushey dives into side control looking to finish.
Wayne is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bushey scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Wayne is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Bushey can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Bushey! A pretty intense looking Adam Bushey took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
