Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jacques Durand (ranked 20607 p4p, 781 weight class) and Tor Pellinore (ranked 22147 p4p, 761 weight class). Durand comes to the ring accompanied by Kaaris - S.E.V.R.A.N.. Pellinore has chosen Powerman 5000-When Worlds Collide as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pellinore throws a big shot that misses.
Pellinore fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Durand checks it well.
Durand buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Durand crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pellinore - the referee stops the clock and Durand gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pellinore. Durand manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Durand throws a low kick, looking for Pellinore's leg but Pellinore calmly moves out of range.

Pellinore stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
