Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lartem Obov (ranked 3087 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Gonzales (ranked 9254 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Obov.
Gonzales has a takedown stuffed.
Gonzales changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Obov tries to avoid it but Gonzales manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Obov to the ground. Obov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Obov throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzales moves out of range easily.
Gonzales scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gonzales throws a poor cross that misses
and Obov counters with an outside leg kick.
Gonzales cracks Obov with a right hand to the side of the head.

Obov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gonzales is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gonzales throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Obov blocks it with crossed arms.
