Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John John (ranked 4497 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luc Kleynen (ranked 8717 p4p, 0 weight class). Kleynen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Best UFC entrance of all time!!!. John John has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John John! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luc Kleynen! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John drives through with a takedown into Kleynen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kleynen being controlled here, momentarily. John scoring with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. John lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. John wants to control from the top but Kleynen keeps moving. John is pushing down on Kleynen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kleynen is fighting to maintain full guard but John has managed to sneak the leg through. John is working for a kimura but Kleynen is defending it quite comfortably.
Kleynen wants to get back to full guard. John will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. John with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Kleynen wants to get back to his feet. Kleynen flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
John seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. John trying to control from half guard but Kleynen is working away. Kleynen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. John missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kleynen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. John is nestled in close to Kleynen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kleynen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but John pulls his head out easily. John lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kleynen tries to roll over but John keeps him under control. John slows the pace down in half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. John connects with a nice short shot to Kleynen's temple. John prevents Kleynen from improving his position. John is working for a submission of some sort.
John stands up and beckons Kleynen to join him on the feet. John throws a half hearted mid kick. John throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kleynen was covering up waiting for the punch and John finishes the takedown easily into guard. John is looking to work some ground and pound but Kleynen has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kleynen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as John accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. John chips away with some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells John's corner. There ya go! There ya go! John controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kleynen keeping moving, preventing John from controlling successfully. John gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. John tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. John darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kleynen manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. John keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. John manages to break the clinch.
John looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! John won't allow Kleynen to sweep him here. Kleynen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kleynen looks winded! John trying to control but Kleynen is working from the bottom. John works a leg free and moves into half guard. John performing his best blanket impression for a moment. John stands up and beckons Kleynen to join him on the feet. Kleynen moves into the clinch. John has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kleynen is trying to keep an underhook but John manages to get the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John John dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
John slaps away a takedown attempt from Kleynen, before circling back to the center of the mat. John shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kleynen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kleynen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. John defends it easily. John pushes down on Kleynen's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kleynen wants to improve his position but John is controlling well.

John takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kleynen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but John pulls his head out easily. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. John lands a nice short elbow. Kleynen is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. John with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. John really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kleynen is refusing to be controlled, as John sits in half guard. Kleynen tries to get to full guard but John has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. John connects with a nice short shot to Kleynen's temple. John is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. John landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Still in half guard, John seems content to control. John seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kleynen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). John John! Luc Kleynen spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost against a fighter, who was today better as me, i'll be back stronger !!!'.
