Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Zack (ranked 22010 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Tank (ranked 4288 p4p, 0 weight class). Zack comes to the cage accompanied by PnB Rock - Selfish. Jack Zack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Zack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Tank! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tank swivels and escapes. Tank throws a hook to the side of Zack's head but Zack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Zack seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Tank throws the left hand but Zack avoids the punch easily. Tank misses with a straight left. Tank takes one to the chin there. Tank lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Tank keeps the fight on the outside. Tank gets tackled into the cage by Zack. Zack maintains the clinch. Tank swings wildly with an uppercut but Zack uses good head movement to avoid it. Zack wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tank has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tank prevents Zack from breaking the clinch. Zack can't get the takedown.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Zack. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head punch on the inside from Zack fails to land. Zack wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tank is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Zack gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Tank jumps guard.
Zack being controlled here momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tank keeping full guard, as Zack tries to pass. Zack could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Zack wants to control from the top but Tank keeps moving. Tank has control of Zack's left arm, preventing Zack from doing any damage. Tank wants to sweep here but Zack controlling him for the moment. Zack slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zack in side control, throwing shots but Tank defends. Zack tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Tank tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zack wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zack wants to control but Tank is keeping him busy. Tank is trying to control Zack's posture but Zack avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zack working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Zack wants to stand but Tank is controlling his arm.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zack is looking to take a break and control but Tank is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tank throws a chopping leg kick but Zack manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Zack seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Tank drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zack prevents Tank from improving position. The referee asks Tank politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tank prefers to stall for the moment though. Zack is looking to regain half guard here but Tank keeps moving and retains side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tank is looking to take a break and control but Zack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zack is trying to control Tank's posture but Tank avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Thomas Tank will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tank throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jack Zack is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tank swivels and escapes. Tank is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Tank looks to land a left hand but Zack moved out of range nicely. Tank looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tank trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tank slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Tank has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zack keeping full guard, as Tank tries to pass. Tank is looking to pass into half guard but Zack pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Zack is in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tank keeping moving, preventing Zack from controlling successfully. Zack would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zack seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tank can do anything to dispel that myth. Tank trying to control the position here. Tank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zack is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tank pulls Zack in close to prevent any damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Zack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tank is keeping the position for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Tank pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Zack fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Zack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tank. Zack misses with a takedown attempt - Tank sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Zack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tank is defended easily by Zack. Tank is breathing heavily. Zack misses with a head kick.

Zack is trying to force a seperation but Tank has the dominant position. Zack turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zack manages to end up in side control. Tank sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Tank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zack. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tank trying to control here.
Zack is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zack prevents Tank from improving his position. Tank keeps trying to improve his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tank is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Zack will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Tank is staying active underneath Zack, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tank tries to get to full guard but Zack has control of the leg. Tank takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tank is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zack defends it well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tank in particular looking to stall. The fighters are battling for position here. Zack manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Tank trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tank must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tank stops Zack from standing up. Zack tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Zack controlling Tank's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tank circles away from the clinch attempt and Tank counters with a takedown into side control. Jack Zack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tank working the ground and pound. Zack is trying to buck Tank off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tank is trying to get an arm triangle but Zack is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zack tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Zack keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Tank takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tank goes for an armbar but Zack turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Zack. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zack trying to control the position from guard on top but Tank is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Thomas Tank. I think Tank has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
