Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abe Son (ranked 3919 p4p, 464 weight class) and Aniketh Chin (ranked 21772 p4p, 759 weight class). Abe Son looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abe Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aniketh Chin! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chin avoids the head kick by Son.
Chin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Son as he jumps to the side. Chin fails with the takedown. Chin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Abe Son has been cut. A decent looking body kick lands there for Chin. Son is breathing heavily. A nice inside leg kick there by Chin. That's going to slow Son down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Chin lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Chin stops a takedown attempt from Son.
Chin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Abe Son has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aniketh Chin. Chin breaks the clinch.
Chin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Son is trying to defend but Chin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Chin throwing shots but Son is blocking nicely. Son trying to control but Chin postures up.
Chin is keen to just control but Son is a slippery customer. Chin is pressing down on Son's thigh, looking to free his foot. Son is holding on for now. Chin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Son. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Son is refusing to be controlled, as Chin sits in half guard. Chin seems to be looking for submissions.
Son makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Son. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chin trying to control the position from guard on top but Son is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chin lands a nice shot to the body.
Son tries to clinch but Chin moves out of range. Chin steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Son. Chin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Son as he jumps to the side. Son blocks a head kick by Chin.
Son tries to keep at a distance but Chin has taken the fight into the clinch. Chin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Son has him pressed against the cage. Chin pressing his opponent against the cage. Son breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Son. Son scoring with punches and elbows. Chin is trying to control Son's posture but Son avoids it. Chin is looking for a sweep. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You can see the frustration on Chin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aniketh Chin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Abe Son's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chin shoots in for a takedown but Son shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Chin cracks Son with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Son takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Chin forces Son back against the cage and clinches. Son jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chin walks away with a smile on his face. Son gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chin throws a combination. Son tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Chin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Son gets a double leg takedown into Chin's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Chin looking to control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Son lands a couple of decent looking shots. Chin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chin is looking for a triangle but Son pushes his legs off easily.
Son thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Chin has a takedown stuffed. Chin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Son defends it nicely. Son feinted with a counter takedown. Abe Son has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aniketh Chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chin blocks the body kick.
Chin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Chin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Son takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Aniketh Chin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Son rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Son, pushing him back against the cage. Chin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Son has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Chin is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Chin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chin instigates a clinch. Chin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chin circles away from the clinch attempt and Chin counters with a lovely shot to the body. Chin closes the distance and clinches. A bit of stalling here from Chin.
Son is trying to push Chin away but Chin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Chin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck for Son with that takedown attempt. Son doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Chin dives in and scores a takedown into Son's guard. Chin trying to control but Son is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Son is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aniketh Chin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Abe Son's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Chin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chin lands in his opponent's guard. Son wriggles free and stands up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chin is defended easily by Son. Son attempts a counter takedown but Chin avoids it well and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chin stalks Son and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Son's face. Son staggers backwards, shaken. Son fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Son is fending him off so far but Chin persists. Nope, Son circles away and we're back to standing. Sloppy strikes from Chin. Those never looked like landing. Chin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Abe Son has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aniketh Chin. Son moves into range and clinches up with Chin. Chin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Chin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Son darts in trying to clinch and Chin counters with a left and a right that stings Son.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chin tries to clinch there but Son circles away.
Chin fails with a takedown attempt. Chin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Son shoots in and bounces Chin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Son got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Son has managed to get both his arms back between Chin's legs - danger averted. Chin is adopting a defensive guard. Son passes Chin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Abe Son overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Son drops an elbow to the side of Chin's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Son content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Son is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
