The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyamoto moves in looking to clinch but Morthens pushes him off.
Miyamoto fails to land with a series of punches.
Miyamoto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Morthens wants to control but Miyamoto is keeping busy.
Miyamoto is looking to take a break and control but Morthens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Morthens is trying to control but Miyamoto manages to pass to mount!

Miyamoto tries to close the distance and clinch but Morthens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Miyamoto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Morthens tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Miyamoto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Morthens can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Morthens is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Miyamoto wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Morthens circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Miyamoto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Miyamoto swings wildly with an uppercut but Morthens uses good head movement to avoid it.

Miyamoto pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Morthens bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miyamoto's guard.

Kenji Miyamoto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Miyamoto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
