Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martti Maanantai (ranked 6660 p4p, 604 weight class) and Kshau Nish (ranked 21804 p4p, 784 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martti Maanantai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kshau Nish! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maanantai throws a hook but Nish blocks it. Maanantai misses with the combination.
Maanantai feints a jab promting Nish to slip. Maanantai then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nish slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Kshau Nish has been cut. Maanantai misses with a double jab.
Maanantai misses with a body shot.
Nish moves into the clinch. Maanantai throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nishs head. Nish lands a damaging elbow. Nish breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nish has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Maanantai misses the shot to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Maanantai. Nish does a little dance to reset his feet. Nish shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nish was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Maanantai manages to get back to half guard. Nish with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maanantai wants to control but Nish is keeping busy and won't allow it. Maanantai looking for submissions off his back. Maanantai wants to get back to full guard. Maanantai regains full guard. Nicely done. Maanantai looking to control.
Maanantai looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Maanantai keeping moving, preventing Nish from controlling successfully. Maanantai has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nish stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maanantai swivels though and keeps the full guard. Maanantai has his foot on Nish's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nish works his way back into a safe position though. Maanantai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nish gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nish looking to improve position, pressing down on Maanantai's thigh with his hand. Maanantai seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Nish paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Nish's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Maanantai picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
