Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 219 p4p, 25 weight class) and Koulouraki Souvlaki (ranked 235 p4p, 26 weight class). Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Pretender. Souvlaki has chosen Greek Anthem as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morrison Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Koulouraki Souvlaki!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souvlaki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee is looking to control Souvlaki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted?
Souvlaki working Lee over with strikes.
Lee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Souvlaki stopping the sweep attempt from Lee.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Souvlaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Souvlaki trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Souvlaki distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee controls Souvlaki momentarily but Souvlaki frees himself.
Souvlaki is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Souvlaki from controlling successfully.
Souvlaki got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Souvlaki has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Souvlaki throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Souvlaki is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lee has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Souvlaki is looking to defend but Lee has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Souvlaki! Lee pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Souvlaki taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Morrison Lee!
