Chlapik is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by PIPES AND PINTS / Criticized . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Kroblur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jakub Chlapik!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chlapik shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kroblur as he avoids it easily.
Chlapik throws a right hand that Kroblur ducks under and follows up with a left that Kroblur also avoids with ease.
Chlapik misses with a wild combination.

Chlapik moves into the clinch.
Chlapik throws a head punch that misses.

Kroblur has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Chlapik clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kroblur is punishing Chlapik with some ground and pound.
Kroblur definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kroblur scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Chlapik is looking for a way out.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Chlapik's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kroblur accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kroblur postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kroblur's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Chlapik is striking from the bottom but Kroblur uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Chlapik pushes Kroblur off looking to stand but Kroblur dives back in and keeps control.
Kroblur is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Chlapik is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kroblur jumps into side control!
Check out the look on Kroblur's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The strikes coming from Kroblur are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

and Kroblur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kroblur shoots for a double leg takedown but Chlapik sprawls well. He's pushed Kroblur's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jakub Chlapik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kroblur throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kroblur moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kroblur scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Chlapik throws a right and a left that both miss.
It looked like Kroblur was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Kroblur pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chlapik looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Kroblur keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chlapik's head.
Kroblur won't allow Chlapik to sweep him here.

Chlapik is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kroblur's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kroblur's back!

Chlapik might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kroblur haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A relieved looking Matt Kroblur thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
