Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Master Roshi (ranked 2359 p4p, 228 weight class) and Daniel Kim (ranked 9078 p4p, 505 weight class). Daniel Kim has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Master Roshi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Roshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Kim! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kim doesn't manage to clinch there - Roshi circles away.
Kim jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kim throws a wild body kick that Roshi sees coming a mile off. Some bone on bone action there as Roshi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kim tries to clinch there but Roshi circles away.
Kim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roshi moves away. A jab from Kim misses. Roshi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Roshi connects with the punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim fails with a takedown attempt. Roshi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Good exchange - Roshi coming out on top. Kim takes one to the chin there. Roshi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Sloppy strikes from Kim. Those never looked like landing. Kim throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Roshi, as that shot connected.
Kim works Roshi's body with a nice hook. Kim has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Roshi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Roshi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kim moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Daniel Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roshi moves out of range as Kim strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roshi avoids a kick to the body.
Roshi tries to counter with a takedown but Kim is quick to defend against it. A jab from Roshi does it's job there. Roshi with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roshi lands a jab to the nose. Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Roshi scores with the left hand. Kim knows he should have avoided that one. Roshi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kim momentarily.
Kim throws a leg kick but Roshi sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kim misses with a head kick.
Master Roshi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kim uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Roshi. The crowd cheers as Roshi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kim shoots in but Roshi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Roshi tries to counter with a takedown but Kim is quick to defend against it. Master Roshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Kim. Roshi throws a big shot that misses. Kim misses with an attempted mid kick.
Roshi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Roshi lands a jab to the head.
Kim is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Kim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Roshi. Kim counters with a body kick. Roshi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nice cross by Roshi. Roshi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kim attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Roshi scores with a sloppy right hand. Kim should have avoided that one. Roshi misses with a hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kim moves into range and connects with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kim takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Roshi looks to land a right hand but Kim moved out of range. A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target. Kim has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The fight stays on the outside here - Kim looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Roshi throws out a powerful jab. Roshi throws a jab when Kim was well out of range. Kim throws a head kick that misses. Kim misses the jab. Kim misses with a looping right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Roshi dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kim walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Roshi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kim can do to turn this around? Kim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roshi pinned against the cage. Roshi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice jab there from Roshi. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kim might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Roshi has got the better of the exchanges. Kim throws a leg kick and Roshi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Roshi. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roshi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kim has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roshi has managed to get both his arms back between Kim's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Roshi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kim. Kim is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Roshi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kim struggling a bit here. Kim looks to move to half guard but instead Roshi has passed into mount! Damn! Roshi content just to control the position here. Roshi is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Kim is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Roshi is looking to stand but Kim has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Kim can't escape the position.
Kim sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Kim wants to improve his position but Roshi is controlling well.
We've been hearing that Roshi has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Kim is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Roshi pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roshi seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kim tries to get to full guard but Roshi has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim trying to hold on to Roshi's head to control him but Roshi postures up.
Roshi wants to stand up but Kim has a hold of him and won't allow it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kim actively working from the bottom here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kim takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kim throws a leg kick that is checked and Roshi counters with a shoot takedown. Kim fights it but they end up in guard. Kim is wriggling around but Roshi manages to pass to half guard.
Roshi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim is trying to get back to full guard. Roshi wants to stand up but Kim manages to regain full guard. Master Roshi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Roshi tries to stand but Kim is controlling from the bottom. Roshi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground. Kim looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim working for a triangle but Roshi defends it easily.
Roshi is looking to stand up but Kim won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Roshi dominated that second round. That's time! Roshi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A slow jab from Roshi misses its intended target. Roshi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Roshi lands with a straight right. Kim didn't see that one coming. Roshi moves out of range as Kim throws a body kick.
Roshi feinted with a counter takedown. Roshi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Roshi looks to throw the jab but Kim is out of range. Kim is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Master Roshi is winning the standup battle so far. Kim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A nice side step and Kim releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Kim tries to close the distance and clinch but Roshi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim closes the distance and clinches. Roshi blocks an uppercut.
Kim misses with a hook from the clinch. Kim can't find room to land a body shot as Roshi controls the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roshi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kim has him pressed against the cage. Roshi tries to break the clinch but Kim is controlling the position. Roshi breaks from the clinch.
Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kim takes a jab right on the kisser.
Roshi slips under a jab. Roshi half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Roshi blocks a jab. Kim has managed to clinch.
Kim misses with the head strike.
Kim tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kim throws a head punch that misses. Kim using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Roshi has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Roshi wants to break free but Kim has control.

Kim swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshi getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Roshi throws out a loose jab but Kim uses good head movement to avoid it. Kim pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Roshi feinted with a counter takedown. Roshi moves out of range of the strikes. Roshi avoids a kick to the body.
Roshi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kim sprawls and moves away. Nice defenses there by Roshi. Roshi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Roshi cracks Kim with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A big left from Roshi misses. Kim wants to clinch. Kim slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshi throws a hook but Kim blocks it. Kim takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Roshi throws out a powerful jab. Roshi checks a leg kick nicely. Roshi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kim sprawls and moves away. Kim throws a head kick that misses. Kim shoots in but Roshi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good standup being displayed there by Roshi as he connects with a hook. Roshi misses with a looping left. Kim wants to counter the offense by Roshi and move into the clinch position. Kim defending well as Roshi loads up on a big left hand. Daniel Kim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Master Roshi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nice shot lands for Roshi. Roshi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Master Roshi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roshi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
